The course is spread out through the confines of the well know Queens Park. This is a course that requires a good straight drive off the tee on a majority of the holes followed by an equally straight shot to the green. A relatively short course of the men’s tees it is a stern test for ladies off the yellow tees.

Bluff

Bluff is located at the very south of the South Island, New Zealand, in the province of Southland and is the ‘Gateway to Stewart Island’. Stirling Point, with its famous signpost and walking tracks, is the beginning of State Highway 1 which traverses the length of the country to Cape Reinga in the far north – the journey really does begin here in Bluff.

Oreti Beach

When arriving at Oreti Beach, Rakiura (Stewart Island) is directly ahead and the seaside resort of Riverton is to the right. Oreti Beach was the trail used by Maori when travelling between Riverton and Oue. The south end of the beach was called Ma te Aweawe (Misty Way). As people walk down the beach they appear to float above it and eventually disappear into the mist.
